In 2020 Spring flurries in Tokyo brought a rare sight of snow and cherry blossoms. Snow is not a common sight in Tokyo. These unusual weather events often on the surface seem exciting, people are captivated by an experience that is out of the ordinary.
 
The sinister truth however is that in all likelihood this beautiful vision is the outcome of catastrophic climate change. How can something so exquisite be so disastrous? A contradiction within a contradiction.
