Schools out... Forever?!

Well, I've done it! I've swapped the classroom for the studio.

Last week was a bit of a weird week - no sleepless night the day before school started. Missing my pals, Laura, Jennie and Millie, like mad and all of the daily banter that teachers share to survive.

However, I now feel that I am where I should be, doing what I should be doing - cryptic, I know. This will undoubtedly be the biggest roller coaster ever designed in the history of the world (I am not dramatic, at all, as those who know me well will testify to ha-ha). Every day, I see-saw from 'Oh my god, what the hell am I doing? Is anybody ever going to like/buy any of my work?' to 'Yes I can do this. I love what I'm doing, surely somebody else will?'

I would really appreciate it if you could share this 'bumpy road' with me. Be a witness to all of the twists and turns that it will inevitably take. Share in my successes (hopefully) and support me through the lows (undoubtedly).

I have no idea where this road is going to take me ... perhaps not where I want to go, but definitely somewhere 🙂 Finally, thought I'd leave you with a photo of my studio mascot who you will probably get to see a lot of.
